What Budwise stores
Budwise stores account and authentication data, private grow records, plant and grow-space details, care and environment records, Diagnosis threads, and photos you choose to upload. Supabase provides authentication, database, and private file storage services. Cloudflare hosts and delivers the web application.
Diagnosis and AI provider
Diagnosis sends your message, the plant or grow-space context you select, and attached photos to Venice to generate guidance. Budwise defaults to a Venice Private model, which uses zero-data-retention inference. Do not include information you do not want processed by Venice.
Budwise uses Venice's API with a Private, vision-capable model. Venice states that Private inference processes prompt and response content only for the request and does not retain it afterward. Operational metadata such as account identifiers, timestamps, selected model, token counts, billing, request IDs, and IP address may still be processed. See Venice's privacy documentation. The categories sent are: diagnosis messages, selected plant or grow-space context, selected environment and care context, attached images. Budwise does not intentionally send your email address, authentication ID, profile handle or display name, raw storage paths, sensor credentials or raw payloads, unrelated plants, or administrator data as Diagnosis prompt fields.
Public sharing
Your workspace is private by default. Public profile, plant, and safe grow-space setup pages are available only when you explicitly enable their sharing controls. Private logs, Diagnosis content, and environment readings are not included in those public views.
Your controls
Settings provides controls to export your private grow data, remove uploads or grow data, and delete your account. For privacy requests, email privacy@budwise.app.
